Coronavirus 2019-nCoV Epidemic Doubling 6.4 Days, Growing Exponentially, See Univ of Hong Kong In The Lancet

University of Hong Kong study warns epidemic doubling  has been 6·4 days, growing exponentially in multiple major cities of China, lagging behind the original Wuhan event by 1–2 weeks, with significant under reporting due to mild symptoms and delayed symptoms in many infected although infection always results in symptoms, however mild, and resulting in geographic export to other countries of pre-symptomatic but transmissable, contagious, infections.

NEW CORONAVIRUS 2019-nCoV: Original China Researchers' Point of View More Complex Than Headlines

New coronavirus 2019-nCoV Origin Actually Not Snakes But Bats And An Unknown Origin Coronavirus.

New virus 2019-nCoV NOT traced to snakes as origin but back to bats, a new coronavirus resulting from combination of two coronaviruses:  one coronavirus infecting bats and another coronavirus of 'unknown origin', according to a team including Wuhan University of Bioengineering.   "Additionally" the authors concluded that the new resulting coronavirus resided in snakes before infecting humans.  The outbreak, according to news stories over the past days, began out in the rural areas of the province and spread into the wild animal marketplaces of Wuhan where, given the higher population density,2019-nCoV began to spread among healthcare workers through exposure.

For a root cause, how about:

Lab studying coronaviruses, bioengineers a sleeper coronavirus from a bat coronavirus and bioengineered coronavirus, along the way infecting mice, fed to snakes, released to the wild, themselves spreading in the wild, spreading 2019-nCoV to the snake, bat, and other wild animal  population headed to Wuhan for human purchase, infecting humans  and dogs.

Crisis - Change - Revival

Geologist: The Present Is the Key to the Past.....  ||  Lawyer: The Past Is the Key to the Present....  ||  Santayana: Those Who Cannot Remember the Past Are Condemned to Repeat It.

George Santayana: "Progress, far from consisting in change, depends on retentiveness. When change is absolute there remains no being to improve and no direction is set for possible improvement:
and when experience is not retained, ..., infancy is perpetual. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

Arnold Toynbee: “We are not doomed to make history repeat itself; it is open to us, through our own efforts, to give history, in our case, some new and unprecedented turn.
As human beings, we are endowed with this freedom of choice, and we cannot shuffle off our responsibility .... It is up to us.”
